Three things that help the 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLB stand out

The 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLB takes everything last year’s new GLB offered to consumers when it was introduced to the market, namely impressive cargo and passenger space in a small format that’s perfect for the urban jungle.

The Mercedes-Benz GLB is designed for the city and is always fun and agile to drive, like any Mercedes-Benz should be, but it blends this with impressive versatility for a vehicle of its size. The new GLB is perfect for young families, active buyers, or anyone that wants to experience Mercedes-Benz luxury in an easy-to-drive format that’s perfect for the city. Here are three things that help the 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLB stand out in its segment among luxury vehicles.

It’s interior space

The 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLB offers a lot of interior space despite its size. For starters, it can accommodate three rows of seats. You might not think it possible when you see the GLB’s size, but Mercedes-Benz engineers have worked their magic designing an interior that is optimized for space.

Even if you don’t use the third row, you enjoy a spacious second row with plenty of head and leg room, or plenty of space for you child seats. There’s over 1,700 litres of total cargo space in the GLB as well.

It’s performance

The 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLB offers a standard turbocharged four-cylinder with 221 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. Paired with an 8-speed automatic and standard 4Matic all-wheel drive, this engine powers the GLB to 100 km/h in around 6.8 seconds.

If you want more power, you can opt for the Mercedes-AMG GLB 35. Powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder as well, it delivers an impressive 302 horsepower which means you reach 100 km/h in 5.2 seconds. The AMG version also stands out with a unique design and more aggressive overall feel that never compromises comfort.

It’s luxury

The 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLB is a true luxury small SUV, despite an accessible starting price. It features all of the safety and connectivity tech you want and expect from Mercedes-Benz, including the MBUX infotainment system and advanced driver assistance features.
