This is the all-new Mercedes-AMG EQE 4MATIC+

The Mercedes-Benz EQE made its debut in October at the Munich Motor Show and now Mercedes-Benz brings us the high-performance AMG version. The new Mercedes-AMG EQE 4Matic+ offers an exceptional combination of performance, luxury, and technology to create and develop a one-of-a-kind driving experience for its future owner.

A logical follow-up to the all-new Mercedes-Benz EQS, the EQE is a mid-size luxury sedan with electrifying performance. If the EQS is the S-Class of Mercedes-Benz electric vehicles, the EQE is the Mercedes-AMG E 63 S of the German manufacturer's electrically powered luxury vehicles. The new EQE is a midsize luxury SUV with a fully electric powertrain, and the AMG version will be just as capable of raising your heart rate and pumping your adrenaline than a traditional gas-powered AMG.

90.6 kWh battery for the Mercedes-AMG EQE 4MATIC+

The 90.6 kWh battery of the Mercedes-AMG EQE will offer a range of 444 kilometers to 518 kilometers depending on the version. This range is calculated on the European WLTP cycle while the EPA range figures will be known a little later. Nevertheless, the EQE is expected to offer at least 450 kilometers in its most efficient version.

Even more impressive than the range of the new Mercedes-AMG EQE 4MATIC+ is its charging capacity. With its 170-kW capacity, the 90.6 kWh battery can add 180 kilometers of range in just 15 minutes.

In terms of performance, the EQE 4Matic+ will be quite simply spectacular. It will offer up to 677 horsepower while base models will offer 617 horsepower. Torque varies from 633 to an incredible 738 pound-feet of torque. This will be enough to reach 100 km/h in just 3.3 seconds!

The Mercedes-AMG EQE 4Matic+ will offer several other features that will make it stand out including:

- Multiple driving modes:

  • The EQE will feature multiple driving modes including Slippery, Comfort, Sport, Sport+, Race Start without boost, and Race Start with boost. Each mode modifies the engine's input by adjusting the available power, from 50% in Slippery mode to 110% in the most powerful mode.

- Standard rear steering

  • The EQE will offer standard active rear steering for exceptional handling

- Advanced suspension

  • The suspension of the Mercedes-AMG EQE is a technological work of art. It is able to automatically adjust itself according to the type of driving style to improve handling or comfort and adjust the height of the car to improve aerodynamics. Mercedes-AMG engineers have designed a suspension that provides the perfect balance between performance and refinement.

- Advanced energy recovery

  • The Mercedes-AMG EQE 4MATIC+ can recover up to 260 kW while driving to charge the battery while driving.
